Kyte Report 67.0 - Updaaaaate~

Alright! I'm typing this up as I wait for Sony's E3 conference to stream. Let's go Kingdom Hearts 3! >8D

Anywho, first things first. Saturday of Denver Comic Con was awesome. It was a little slow during parts of it, but it always gets that way at some point during con, so that was alright. Dude. They ran out of freaking tickets at 11:30am. I am SO happy that I pre-regged. Children, let this be a lesson to you all that you ~always~ pre-reg unless your schedule is just that up in the air. (And even then cons can typically work with you.) From what I read, DCC hit 61k attendees last weekend. That's freaking huge. I was very excited. The fact that they hit that number temps me even more to go the whole weekend next year. However, all that will rest on whether or not I have the funds to go for a whole weekend. I might, I might not. We'll see. Anyways, I ran around as Ichigo and ran around as Byakuya. xD I got pictures with kids. *-* I was so freaking happy. They were adorable and aaaaaaaaah~ I don't want kids myself and honestly I'm only good with them while in cosplay, but my dream has always been to work at Disneyland or Disneyworld as one of those folks in costumes. Why? 'Cause I like seeing kids smile. I like seeing people smile in general. xD But yeah~ I got a picture with a legit baby Nel that I'll post up later. I also got pictures with probably 3-4 other kids, one of whom said, "Bye Ichigo!" as he left. I seriously and completely died inside of pure joy. xD Sora's gonna be next year's cosplay, this is for certain~ Really, that was the main part of what happened at DCC that was worth any note. x3 I did see a couple of friends who not only make a great Nick and Ellis (Left 4 Dead 2), but also make an OUTSTANDING Tulio and Miguel (The Road to El Dorado). I'll have to link to at least Nick/Tulio's tumblr if I can find it again. Then go shower the tumblr with much, MUCH praise! 8D

Anyways, moving on to number two before Sony's conference starts~ My sudden disappearance last weekend. xD I was up at Estes Park with my family and Ryuu-Kizu. I knew it was coming, but I'd been reasonably busy earlier in the week, so I hadn't had much time to post until that brief little message. It was really, really, really pretty and quite fun. x3 We've discovered that Ryuu-Kizu is part mountain goat and that I typically prefer to not climb cliffs unless my footing is guaranteed to hold me up and/or I have rock climbing gear. (And yet I would love to learn to fly a plane. Go figure. xD) Sir Mountain Goat, however, is also probably part eagle (we saw golden eagles, just by the way!) as he likes high places. Anyways, despite my "OMG I'm gonna freaking die. D8" moment, I took my favorite picture from the whole trip. x3 i4.photobucket.com/albums/y109… If you choose to use the picture for whatever reason, I'd love for you to link back to me. However as I'm not a pro photographer, it's up for grabs for anyone who wants to use it for free stock purposes.

Now onto the next topic of conversation. It's gone viral within the past day or so that pictures of a well-known cosplayer named Marie Grey (who I follow on Facebook) have been printed out and used on body pillows. Personally, I don't like the situation at all, but I don't know what can really be done about it at this point. This is a really good journal that more or less sums up anything and everything I'm feeling/thinking about the situation. And finally the last thing~ The E3 event that's been going on today. x3 I won't elaborate much at this present time because I want to hear about the PS4 and Kingdom Hearts 3, but all I can say is that I'm not impressed with the XBox One. I won't get it unless there's a game I'm dying to play that's only available on the XBox One. Chances are that's not gonna happen. EDIT: Okay. I'm done. I'm gone. My life is complete. FREAKING KINGDOM HEARTS 3 IS IN DEVELOPMENT! OMG! I'm so excited I can't even fully express it, let alone contain my joy! *-* I knew it was coming when Nomura said there was another trailer after Final Fantasy Versus XIII - now Final Fantasy XV. That's it, the PS4 has been sold to me already. *-* Just. Yeah. No words. None. Seven long years of waiting. Seven. The graphics look amazing. The battle teaser trailer looks amazing. Just. Amazing. No words. NO.WORDS. PS4 console is pretty. PS4 graphics are pretty. It's just pretty. I want Killzone. I want Final Fantasy XV. I'll let Ryuu-Kizu have AC4. I.want.Kingdom.Hearts.3. SO yeah. That's about it. I know this console will have downsides, but it's sold for me over Kingdom Hearts 3. That's all I have to say on the matter. I don't care if I have to wait another 10 years for KH3 to come out, just so long as it's in development.FINALLY. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AGWn4… It's legit. I saw it with mine own eyes.

EDIT 2: That's it. Sony just needs to shut up and take my money. There are no used games restrictions. There is no mandatory internet access for gaming. There is no heavy TV emphasis. There is no games not working if not validated within 24 hours. Nothing always on. No check-ins. The console is gorgeous. The graphics are stellar. Sony wins. The only downside at this point will likely be the price, but that's okay because prices go down over time. Edit 2.1: PS4 price is $399. Still pricey, but it's not obnoxious for a fancy new console. Better than XBOX's. Don't get me wrong. I love the XBOX 360. It's one of my favorite consoles. The XBOX One just kinda...bombed. Really badly. This round goes to Sony.
